Volunteer Badge
Your volunteer badge is your ticket. The volunteer badge will give you access to the tournament all week. All volunteers will arrive to the tournament via shuttle bus; in order to get on the shuttle, you must present your badge even when not working.
FIRST AID
First Aid will be provided by LCMC Health, located near the 10th tee. In the event of an accident or injury on the golf course, proceed to the First Aid trailer or contact a gallery marshal or tournament official with a radio and explain the nature of the injury or illness. They will contact First Aid to assist you.
SEVERE WEATHER
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans and the PGA TOUR monitor the weather daily during tournament week. In the event of thunder storms, lightning or other severe weather, “Weather Warning” information will be displayed on the electronic scoreboards around the golf course. When these warnings appear, volunteers are advised to take precautions and seek shelter immediately. The electronic scoreboards will keep spectators advised as to the length of the delay in play; however, in the event of severe weather and lightning, avoid the following areas: bleachers, tall or isolated trees, hill-tops or other high areas, open fields, golf carts, lakes and ponds, metal fences, barricades, hospitality venues, etc.
UNIFORM & DRESS CODE
Your volunteer badge and uniform must be worn at all times while working the tournament; only 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans issued uniforms (shirts, caps, visors and bucket hats) are to be worn while working. The desired dress is khaki long pants, however if the temperature is above 90 degrees, we will allow khaki shorts or skirts.
VOLUNTEER VILLAGE
The Volunteer Village will be located across the driving range. The Walking Scorers trailer will be located in the Village. We will also have a large tented lounge area as well as restrooms. If you are scheduled to work and have not received scheduling confirmation from your captain, report to the Volunteer Village for further instructions.
