New Orleans (April 6, 2005) – Tim Herron has committed to play in the 2005 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The Zurich Classic is scheduled for April 25 – May 1 at the Tournament Players Club of Louisiana. Harrison Frazar, Ian Leggatt and Dennis Paulson also committed to the tournament.

Herron is currently ranked 23 rd on the money list and 50 th of career money leaders after finishing T4 at the FBR Open and T6 at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Herron holds three PGA TOUR victories, including the 1999 Bay Hill Invitational. In 2004, Herron recorded 10 top-25s, allowing him to finish in the top-50 on the money list for the fifth time in his career (he was ranked 32 nd). Herron has not played the New Orleans event since 2001.
