New Orleans (April 4, 2005) – Jeff Sluman has committed to play in the 2005 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The Zurich Classic is scheduled for April 25 – May 1 at the Tournament Players Club of Louisiana.

Sluman is a six-time winner on the PGA TOUR and was named Captain’s Assistant for The Presidents Cup team in 2003. Wins include the 1998 PGA Championship, the 2001 B.C. Open and the 2002 Greater Milwaukee Open. His best finish this year was T9 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Last year, Sluman cracked the $1-million mark for the fourth straight season and sixth in the last seven years. He finished in money 23 out of 28 tournaments entered. Sluman has played the New Orleans event nine times; his best finish here was T11 in 2003.
