Three of the Top-20 Money Winners Commit to 2005 Zurich Classic

New Orleans (March 14, 2005) – Charles Howell III, Scott McCarron and Joe Ogilvie have committed to play in this year’s Zurich Classic, scheduled for April 25 through May 1 at the Tournament Players Club of Louisiana. Each is ranked in the top-20 of the PGA TOUR’s money list.

Howell, winner of the 2002 Michelob Championship at Kingsmill, currently is ranked 10 th on the PGA TOUR money list after a T2 at the Buick Invitational. In 2004, Howell finished his third consecutive season in the top-40, with five top-10 finishes. He has played the New Orleans tournament four times, finishing T5 in 2004.

McCarron is a three-time TOUR winner, including a win at the New Orleans event in 1996 and the 2001 BellSouth Classic. He currently is ranked 19 th on the TOUR money list after two finishes in the top-10. McCarron also has won the Franklin Templeton Shootout three times.

Ogilvie has won four Nationwide Tour victories, including two in 2003. He finished T2 at last year’s New Orleans tournament, tying with Phil Mickelson. He currently is ranked 20 th on the TOUR money list after a T2 finish at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. This will be Ogilvie’s fourth appearance in New Orleans.
